My last 5 personal messages have come from females

The ones I used to get were about asking for money, wanting sponsorship for a visa on the pretense of our getting married, or them offering 'investment' advice. After I told some of them politely to leave me alone, I saw that the flow stopped.

Whether they were actually women or men pretending to be women, it looks like many of them were the same person trying to work some angle. I am happy to converse with anyone about anything, but I don't fool easily. That said, I've had numerous fun conversations with women who I suspect are men, but I don't care. I'm not giving you money and we aren't going to be meeting.

Disable your "online light" green dot in the settings and that will drastically eliminate most of those messages.

It used to be that the catfish accounts claimed to be age 18 to 21, but now they are 22 to 25.

I rarely get messages from female, most men saying they are single fathers as well. It never fails they always ask me how discipline I my kids. I block them after that.

I actually had one say something more than Hi. She asked how was my day. Empty profile, sexy Asian pic, no posts or pictures or gifts, friends hidden. All activity vitals hidden. Their attempts fail this wise old geezer.

If I don’t recognize the name from posting, I’m not responding. And, if someone is young, I’ll never respond.
