Should there be an opt in and an opt out, of modern society?

@popmol I don't think you can escape it completely ,but homesteading is having your own land ,growing most of your food ,having your own animals all for your own use and sustainability.
It might not be for you.

@hdiddle socialistic capitalism is infinitely better.

@popmol that's what's already in place in most western democracies. Doesn't really solve the worst issues of capitalism.

@hdiddle yes its in place in a bunch of western democracies, but to the lowest degree and constantly eroded back to classic capitalism.
you need it to a way more severe degree of socialistic capitalism.

there should be fall nets for everyone, there should be a minimum amount of money people get so they can live normally and after that capitalism can decide. but these things don't happen.

actualyl going to the mail and downstairs unsubscribe often really helps problem is that makes you go to their website an thats a danger in itself. (if its regular spam sure, but dangerous spam not sure.)

@popmol im talking about mail through our letterbox delivered by royal mail. No matter how often we fill in and submit the opt out forms they completely disregard it.

@eventtemple123 pretty much yeah. Well maybe a small amount of food to share to others might be okay but if you are self sufficient I would say yes indeed
