Should there be an opt in and an opt out, of modern society?

You could try homesteading ,you're quite young, you'd have to work a few years in order to get land and set up supplies.
You'll work harder than you ever have in your life, but then everything would be yours, too.

@popmol I don't think you can escape it completely ,but homesteading is having your own land ,growing most of your food ,having your own animals all for your own use and sustainability.
It might not be for you.

@Justmeraeagain i do like it. but i'd prefer being the neighbour, like i can help most of the time but not own it.
like i like kids, fun little creatures, but being a dad? no thank you :p don't want the responsibility
