People drive around in golf carts and there is no golf course

Everyone in the neighborhood says my house is haunted. But I’ve lived there for three hundred years and I’ve never noticed anything weird.

The same guy with the weed blower blowing leaves into the street will dominate the street parking with vehicles. He has a large pickup truck that he burnt the motor out last fall and pulled up to the curb with it smoking and it has been parked there ever since. He pulled some kind of drag race car that needs to be worked on into his driveway taking up a space and it has sat there for about a month now. He has another truck that he’s driving, his wife has a car, his son lives there so sometimes other vehicles, and his daughter will come to visit. Sometimes there are 4 cars parked on the street blocking my mailbox and the mail carrier has to pull up in front of my driveway, get out and put the mail in the box. Also he drives a semi truck up here (not the trailer) and leaves it parked sometimes when it’s snowing or icy. All those vehicles on the street and if a person has to drive on ice or snow weave around them without hitting them. His truck is usually parked in front of the fire hydrant too. I’d like to have a yard sale but thinking people won’t be able to find a parking space nearby with all those cars there.

Some of the neighbors neglect pruning their trees and let the limbs hang over the fences, one guy lets wild trees come up on the fence line and won’t bother to cut them down. He wouldn’t help pay half of the fence replacement either. Had to pay the fence guys extra to cut those trees down that were in the way. Another neighbor takes good care of his yard but he’ll use his leaf blower to blow leaves or grass clippings after weed-eating his front front yard and they end up blowing up to my curb (that I’ll sweep after mowing etc.) or in my other neighbor’s yard.

The amount of unnecessary projects wasting taxpayer money.

We're due to get a really ugly plastic sculpture where a nice copse of trees used to stand. It's purpose is to "celebrate" our neighbourhood spirit

Raccons and deer always getting into my garden.

Young people littering the countryside since a certain fast food chain opened up.

The recent upsurge in violent crime.

its awesome 😞 and its awesomness has made rents go up so much in the last 10 years. my rent is litterally five times what i used to pay in the 90's in the same area. its used to be the bohemian, hippy part of town but became so well know as the best place to live that it became the rich intelectual part of town with all the expensive organic restaurants and art galeries and stuff.

I haven't really thought about it.. we kinda live in the woods and not so many neighbors.. but there’s getting to be more due to the developers and individuals buying stuff up lately

People with there loud diesel trucks...🙄

Harvest time.
Loud trucks all hours of the day and night.

People who don't pick up trash in the street, who are slobs and who have no respect for the block. People who are territorial when it comes to parking spaces. People who are not willing to help others or who never respect other people's privacy and or property.

Fortunately nothing…I am in a nice area in a large city with enough land to be private.

Nosy. They would care to snoop nearby my house just to see who's smoking at my house or if I bring any strangers into my house. They will start gossiping.

Having to smell godawful drugs constantly.

always slams her door upon entering or leaving. Used to REALLY startle me. Now it's just super annoying.

It's in the 'hood

I don’t love that my neighbors are often up all night being noisy. I also don’t love listening to my neighbor swear at the top of her lungs at her children through the ceiling

The lack of date able women. If just one would be around, here is a great place to be.

A select few of the neighbors. Overall I've been very blessed living here, though.

Terrific neighborhood. Population has gotten younger. Miss the little old ladies who you used to see walking down the street. That was years ago. I guess they died off. But they weren't replaced with a new crew of little old ladies. 🤣 Now it's mostly boring yuppies.

Many people leave dog poo right near my front steps. It stinks so bad and it is so much that it looks terrible. You wouldn't dare walk 1 foot out of the door barefoot.

Nothing at all, we recently moved and it feels amazing tbh. There’s a sweet elderly lady who is a bit nosey but she’s cute … harmless and she loves my baking lol 🥰🥰
