How much time do you spend on YouTube?

I only spend the time necessary when I want to include a clip on some of my answers here on SW. I am not a big YT fan as I find there is too much garbage on that site.

Occasionally, I will listen to the one or the other piece of music but my time is limited to less than 10 minutes a day I would say.

I have been watching lots of content about horses recently. I need to stop lol!

Watching You Tube videos on my TV right now.

it is sporadic. sometimes i need to know how to do something....sometimes i listen to music. my husband and i go to bed at exactly 10 pm. and if the show or movie we are watching ends before that , we watch Fails until 10

I don't use YouTube directly. I use a backdoor kinda thing without advertising, without paying for it and without Google knowing I was there either.

I'm all about fighting for ones privacy on-line

I watch one herpetologist's posts and one college football analyst's posts once a week. About once a week, I spend a couple of hours at night listening to songs from my favorites list.

About 2hrs or so sometimes but half of that time on YT adverts! 😡

As soon as I get to work I open ‘my mix’ and it plays all day

I play it a lot in the background while I work. I rarely watch anything for a longer time nowadays.

Usually about 1-2 hours a day. I watch travel and Asmr mostly.

I watch a lot of collegiate and upper level hs wrestling while I workout. It helps ramp up the cardio efforts. 35-45 minutes just flies by. Other than that, I’m almost never on YouTube.

That aside, my “cable” for the tv is YouTubeTV. During football season, I watch tv almost every night.

On average: about 1/2 hr per day. Usually at night, after work. Typically, it is a number of instructional videos of guitar playing techniques, chord & scale practices or hints, general music theory, etc. for both classical or electric guitar.

Plus, when I have more time: older movies I enjoy…

Leave me with an endless playlist of music I am happy... along with some very curious interviews and lectures I could maybe find elsewhere I am more than ecstatic...

The nonsense if I didn't know how to use youtube? I wouldn't have much patience for.

I watch a shit load of concerts. I've got You Tube Premium, so there are no ads. I probably watch about 10 plus hours a week.

30-60 minutes a week, TikTok is better for urgent and real time news compared to YouTube.

I watch most of my movies there. Film Noir and old sci-fi and monster movies from the 1940s-50s.
