Why the hell would you call me instead of text me?

My sister-in-law preferred to call and be called, especially when people were isolating during COVID, because she lived alone and hungered for the sound of a human voice. There was NO ONE else that I talked to on the phone and I didn't enjoy talking with her! I don't have to anymore, she's gone 😞.

Depends on what it’s about. If someone’s expecting me and I’m almost there, I’ll text that. If someone important is sick or was injured, that news will rate a phone call.

I know the feeling. People need to learn the art of texting. It’s the way of today.

Personally, id call if i needed to talk to directly right away. Or if it was an emergency

They wanna hear your voice

They should text: can I call you?

Cause I can say more in 5 minutes than I can type in 30
