@samueltyler2 In my late 30's, I was a completely different woman than I am now. I was lonely and neglected as a wife, and I reached out to someone online for comfort. I had an emotional affair, and my Husband was hurt. He said my emotional affair was worse than his porn addiction because my heart was involved. I stopped the emotional affair and became a better woman.

I stopped playing around and looking for something online that I thought I needed, and I threw myself into my family. Over time, I could see the mistakes I made and how my behavior had been wrong, so I changed. This is, of course, just one thing. Many other things happened, like almost losing my oldest daughter, burying my mother-in-law and grandparents, working through most of my childhood abuse, etc. All these things changed me as a woman. As did the twenty-plus years of learning in between being on EP and coming to SW.

Hmm, I guess I could have just said life changed me. I'm sorry for such a long answer. 🤷‍♀

@zombiex8 isn't SW fun? What do you feel is missing?

@samueltyler2 It is. Nothing really, sw itself is really good. But there were more people active I guess, and more diversity.

@zombiex8 that is what i love about it, diversity and willingness to put things out here that would not be possible elsewhere.

@mysteryespresso I was there too. It was an escape back then. Like a portal to another place where you could talk and listen to what people around the world have to say.
