Have you ever thought about how many people you've chatted/talked to online?

Never thought about it. Some of them i would prefer to forget.

I often wonder how it is, with billions of people in this world, I still am lonely, and still have no friends. Even online. Yes, a few people on here know me, but it is not deep and of course we never interact in person, or even know each other's names. Sigh. And they can vanish overnight without a trace.

I remember every person that made some impact, the rest was forgettable.

i have not thought about it but now i'm curious...between here (haven't been here all that long coming up to 3 years, yahoo (now no more) redditt (rarely chat any more) and discord (was frequenting quite a lot but been mia, but will go back) a bit on twitch....

I can't remember all of them, however, do remember the ones that had some impact. I will say since I joined SW in 2016, lessons were definitely learnt.

Everytime I look for an old conversation and see how many pages I have, I'm baffled. But then I open a few at random and realize most are only about 10 messages long.

I'm surprised when I see how many people either my wife or I have chatted with over the years.

Its definitely over 1000 people since the year 2000. I'm glad most forgot me.

Only 225 unique usernames, 22.5 pages, have messaged me so far, since Oct 6 2016.

Women get all the private messages on here. 🤷🏻‍♂

Now some of those do have multiple messages. Not many though.

None where really personal. A few perhaps a little bit private, like real names. Lots of catfish though.

Only one has given a email address. And none a physical address or phone number.

Until someone is willing to at least exchange emails, I don't believe it's really friendship.

When was the last time you invited a friend over, without knowing how to contact them personally, off social media? 🤷🏻‍♂

And I'm certain not going to press that issue with anyone. It's private.

There have quite a few. Still keep in touch with quite a few. Some, I don't miss
