I often wonder how it is, with billions of people in this world, I still am lonely, and still have no friends. Even online. Yes, a few people on here know me, but it is not deep and of course we never interact in person, or even know each other's names. Sigh. And they can vanish overnight without a trace.

@JoyfulSilence I think so many are simply self serving. And if they already have a couple friends they don't really extend to be friendly or closer, as adults. It's sad. I feel the same..pretty lonely. But most people seem to be instant gratification motivated..or drop you the second you are actually Human or show vulnerability.

Yeah, I admit I often am self-centered. To be honest, if I were not lonely, I would not want to talk to other people, LOL! Also, sometimes I get impatient, like when people post one long paragraph that needs several screen lengths to scroll through. But I can be long, too. At least I try to use shorter paragraphs!
