At what age did you stop giving a fu*k what people think about you?

I'm a vulnerable narcissist - have been since forever - and I can see no end in sight.

I still care massively about what people think of me.

I never did tbh. But I do some things like staying active and looking good for my own interest.

I dont think ive ever cared what other people think of me. Im prolly too self absorbed for that lol. I do try to take care of myself so i feel happy with myself though.

I'm 38 this year and I'm only starting to not give a dam.

I guess around now myself. I’ve always dressed how I want, but admittedly I care a lot about how people perceive me as a person, not how I look. I’m tall so that’s the first thing everyone always notices but I care about people thinking I’m a decent guy. So outside has never been something I care what people think. I’m in my thirty’s and have my lip pierced if that is any indicator. Inside is what matters, and I care a little too much what people think about me in that sense. We all have something ya know? Even if we don’t like to admit it

I was in grade school, I had to work for a place to live and food to eat so I had to grow up at a very young age. In those day there wasn’t a minimum working age and we had no time to be worrying about what other people thought of us.

There are still some people I care what they think. But as far as the general public… 33

I still have beliefs buried in me which lead me to care about what other people think about me. Although, not quite as much as I used to.

I never cared. I was raised at a very young age not to care what other people think because they "don't pay my bills or put food on my table."

The way I look.. pretty much never. But I'm a guy, so it's different. Its easy to look good as a guy too.. just takes the minimal amout of care.

When I came across Orwell's quote: "At fifty everyone has the face they deserve." After that, I figured what's the use?

Sadly, some people never do.

Actually, it occurred for me when I turned 13. I had an unusual awakening at the time and it suddenly occurred to me that being 'natural' has more attractive powers than makeup. I was heavily into gymnastics at the time but then immediately started into body sculpting as well for what I wanted to see of myself in the mirror, not for what someone else would like to see.
