Are there many where you live and do you donate to any

There was a time when I very much appreciated the food banks here. Most especially fresh fruit & veggies.

Now I pay back regularly.

the UK that has more food banks than Macds outlets that says all you need to know about a failed economy failed wages failed country

far too many politicians saying how good they are but have no idea when they are on at least 80k a year have expenses paid for, free bars and free restaurants and have no interest in putting the injustice right

They have one near where I live and one near my parents home where I half-live. I do donate to them. I think I gave them a box of frosted Shreddies and a bottle squash last time.

Yes there are a few as well as many wonderful kind volunteers who do their best to distribute the food. I donate a few items each week.

I’m in the UK, there are three near me.
Two are genuine. I support one.
The other is run by the Parish Council, which at the same time protests about social housing in the village!

England is full of them
And there are one hundred thousand homeless families with children, doubled in six years.

Our Two Nation government treats us as commodities.

We collect food items in our office and I take them to a food bank once or twice a week. They are becoming increasingly necessary as the social security net continues to deteriorate through official neglect and popular indifference to the plight of the poor.
There are, and I do, faithfully.
