If I do notice somebody trompiing all over a sweet person , I will possibly jump in to give a piece of mind, and not attack , but use their own words against them .. Way more effective in getting them turned inside out .

There comes a point where you know the comment thread gets too long. Sarcasm while trying to end the exchange can be a way out of it. It starts and ends in that post.
