what do you do with all those plastic grocery store bags?

Stitching them together to make a helium balloon so I can float up to the stratosphere.

I save them to put my pop bottles in to return them.

My grocery store takes them back you drop off

Use it when I clean the cat box

They were banned in New Jersey a few years ago.

Where I live, we don't get plastic bags anymore. It's either paper or reusable ones that you must purchase at checkout.

They get recycled.

In San Francisco I participated in the "Plarn Initiative".

They make strips of the plasic bags then they are woven together to make mats.

Given to the homeless as makeshift bedding.

Nothing, I don't have any. I shop using reusable grocery totes.

i havent used any for years. i use canvas bags come in mail free or even a cardboard box with handle of cord

Some I put away to wrap food in or to microwave steamed bread/buns in when needed. Or I put trash in them and throw out.

Save em for lunch sacks and cleaning the cat’s litter box

We dont have plastic anymore. You get a paper bag for free or a canvas bag for $1.

If you order groceries they put them in canvas bags and your forced to pay for all of them.

I think its incentive to just go to the store like a normal person.

I used them for trash bags. Now that they are illegal I have to buy trash bags. Just so some politicians can pretend they care about anything but themselves.
