one nightmare i remember vividly was me walking through one of those hall of mirror mazes. at the corner of my eye if i would turn away i would for just a tiny moment notice something wrong with the reflection. one wouldn't turn its head when i did. one would have a different facial expression. one wouldn't actually be mirrored etc. whenever i touched a mirror it would just completely shatter and it would just be a white wall behind it.
the whole dream was just me tryin' to get out while being increasingly creeped out. would make a cool horror short film.
i used to have this reoccurring nightmare where me n my family were trapped in a canoe going down a strange river, that’s all the details i remember now but it used to scare me because open water is one of my fears😅 and i had a nightmare once where i was sleeping in my dream on my stomach and my childhood cat came in and attacked me n clawed and bit my back, i think i had that because she wasn’t very friendly and she scared me a lot😬 but i still love kitties
@poisonouscupcake have you played Subnautica? it can get scary, especially the craters edge, you can fall for 12000 meters underwater in pure darkness with ghost leviathans attacking you, which not my idea of funny in a survival water game
@Cosmicmicrowave i haven’t but i only really play sims, acnh and mario kart😹😹 okay that sounds legit horrifying😞😣 it feels so real even when i just see videos of people on ships hitting some huge waves
@poisonouscupcake Yep, what love about subnautica, is that it is realistic, I love the waves, oh and yes ghost leviathans are scary one of them knocked my sub like 33 m out of the water I was terrified, the basics of the game are that the spaceship you are on gets blasted down to an ocean planet, the vehicles are so coo; the saddest part of the game is the only friend you make dies, oh, right I have pictures of the game :)
One I had recently was I was going to Walmart and I noticed a door I've never seen before on the side of the building and I went into it and there was an elevator so I took the elevator down there's this weird beast down there that I looked at and said nope and got back on the elevator and went back the way I came
Another weird one was I was in this building with white walls and white tile floors all the furniture and countertops were also white and it was super clean and everything was very quiet and I just kept walking gradually getting more nervous till I came to stairs right before I got to the top I seen something on all fours waiting then I woke up before I got to figure out what it was
I have been stalked, chased down and hunted by a Leopard seal in multiple nightmares. I always get smaller, or perhaps it always gets bigger the closer it gets. (I know that's how eyesight works) its more like I am my height at the start and penguin sized when I am caught.
I mostly have a dream within a dream 😣😖 it’s a weird experience cause when I wake up from that dream it feels as if I really am awake but I’m still dreaming
@Jokekilla I used to get those, where I'd wake up, but it was still in the dream. I don't dream about sleeping anymore. Maybe it's because I learned just enough about lucid dreaming that I can always tell when it's a dream.
I don't call them nightmares but rather disturbances and it was about rocks grinding into each other in perfect rows and columns of varied sizes. I think I was traumatized by birth
@Cosmicmicrowave When I was around five yrs.old,I dreamed that my family and I were walking down a road when I lighting bolt disintegrated me into a pile of ash.My family glanced at my ashen remains exactly once before shuffling away.

Another one I wouldn't exactly call a nightmare, but it's still frustrating. Whenever things are going particularly badly in my life, I dream about some large piece of machinery or other that is not functioning right, and for some reason it's up to me to figure out how to fix it.
@LordShadowfire hey I made a post if you want to talk about it here is the link https://similarworlds.com/struggles/4664416-tell-me-about-your-problems-and-I-will-try-to-give-you
@Cosmicmicrowave Some of my best nightmares, by which I mean weirdness that I still think kind of kicked ass, happened when I was a kid. I'm probably one of the few people who had recurring villains in my nightmares. A race of alien invaders called the Vulcans, but having nothing to do with the Star Trek characters. They had the weirdest jaw structure. They would open their mouths, and their teeth would spin like a blender.
