People are always missed. Even the invisible have a presence that is felt. If you walk through a crowd of people and don’t really notice any of them, that’s still very different than walking by yourself with no one around.
As you pointed out. It’s sensed in the lack of something we had grown accustomed to. It’s often a subtle difference that might not seem like all that much as we didn’t need it exactly, but we definitely prefer to keep the familiar around because however understated it might be, each and every connection to the outside world no matter how small is cherished by our heart in ways we don’t realize.
People will carry on regardless and on the surface it might seem like nothing really changed, but deep down there will be sadness when remembering the lost energies that brought them some sense of home. Many people I knew here are long gone and while everything is just fine without them, people aren’t meant for just fine and we never were.

I already kinda did that. I came back and didn't tell anyone it was me though, because I've lost interest in interacting with people here the way I used to. No one really noticed. I'm ok with that, I prefer it to people being upset that I'm "not around".
NerdyPotato · M
Probably not, if people are like me anyway. I appreciate many interactions a lot, but rarely notice what it is that I don't see.
mindstruggle · F
I don't think it matters tbh.
I took a break for a long time and no one noticed lmao

I hardly ever post anything, I'm confident no one would notice, I'm pretty sure there have been times I've gone a year without posting.

Actually after a couple of months I'm going to be going dark for a while and nobody here will probably be checking on me nor will they hardly notice but it is what it is I'm not worried about it
