ooh yeah i plan on buying guns as art pieces! mainly everything before modern guns, pirate guns are the coolest but some modern ones that look gorgeous like those are great too!
@Lilymoon thertes a couple guns i'd want! but its a goal in my life, to have the coolest and most beautiful thing of all the things i want to have! like an ivory set of chess (not real ivory, there's fake ones now) a ivory or similar art made mahjong. gorgeous metal piece on gun! and more!
@Atlotto I don't know. I don't remember hearing about one being sold either. Just hang onto it as an investment. It may be worth a pretty penny. It will only get more valuable in the future. I'll see if I can find out something about the value of the custom shop Double Eagle and let you know If I find something.
@Atlotto Not bad. They are rising in value but not just a whole lot. Vintage "new" ones are around $500. People are really buying the older S&W blued revolvers with the original wood grips. Prices on the model 19's and it's cousins run almost $2,000 now, used! New in the box unfired go for around $3,500 - $4,000. 20 years ago you could easily find these revolvers for around $200 - $250. That's quite an increase! The classic Colt DA revolvers are increasing in value the same way.
@rocknroll as long as a person is responsible. Some people don’t seem to have enough sense to tie their shoelaces. They shouldn’t even possess a sling shot.
@Montanaman those are cool looking, just be sure that if someone gets their hands on them, they cannot be fired. I am not really anti-gun, but am anti people having multiple weapons and not securing them properly, not knowing how to safely own them, or owning weapons that were designed for war, not sport or self-protection. The rush to buy AR-style weapons is absurd, and is what has lead to the devastation we see at least weekly. Society, both the pro-gun and anti-gun people, had better get together and find a compromise that works!
Reminds me of an antique Singer sewing machine that someone restored, it was so crusty and corroded I didn’t think it was possible. It was beautiful after they did that.
Awesome possum! Gotta love those accents, all that ornate design, and maybe you can have your initials embossed in cursive into those handles! Btw are those pearl handles or ivory? A fine choice for a wall showpiece!
Nothing wrong with gun ownership. Ask anyone who is a member of the “Pink pistols” They advocate for gun ownership… …and yes those two guns are very ornate!
