Because this is sounding like someone talked down to you and made you feel like lesser than you are. Advice should lift up, give you direction, empower you. Not cut you down.

If it is a friend with good advice I listen.It's different to someone that offers you unwanted advice without asking.Telling them which hole they can shove it in or telling them to keep their stinking hole shut could be the way to go.
