does sex get better with age?

I believe it can, but there are so many factors at play. Sex for me was not a thing until my mid-20's and now after two failed relationships I've chosen to stay single for 8 years so the thing called 'sex' is like a foreign concept fading out of memory because I still don't understand how it fits into the wider subject of adult romantic/imtimate relationships.

I'm not neuro-typical so think differently to most about how intimacy and relationships work. I'm 57 now and I wouldn't know how to involve sex in any sort of relationship should it be possible to find someone who understands me.

The hormones that drive us in our younger years fall off over time so things become more challenging. Providing you still have a willing partner it can still be fulfilling though as one can use massage techniques witg lite touching to stimulate erogenous zones that might have been missed when younger.

It got better for us as we tried new things until our 40's. No improvement since then. Quality and quantity declined starting in our 60's.

@exexec Same for us.

Everything about sex depends on the female partners.

Guys really shouldn't force themselves until the females are ready. Yet that may not help either. Readiness depends on willingness as well.

I don’t think so. It was great in our twenties and thirties. Now in our forties it sucks. Neither of us have the drive, especially her. Now we’re like roommates.

Absolutely
It can. There’s a lot to be said for not having to worry about pregnancy.

@bijouxbroussard Do you still require a man to use and provide the 'protection' (if you're not married already and are being intimate with someone you trust)?
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@bijouxbroussard to a point, then nature interferes on other ways.
Northerner · 70-79, M
It did for us.
Convivial · 26-30, F
I think it's often more infrequent ...🤔
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Convivial definitely. As we age our health changes and we may be less able to perform as well. But, it may be more enjoyable when we do.

@samueltyler2 a glass of gold water tastes better in the desert than at home 🤗
No. You learn by the time you're twenty, best if it's not on the late side, and then by thirty you're fading fast. That's everyone.
People hate life and criminalized teen sexuality out of spite
