This weird rash on my face is annoying me so much (pics included). Has anyone had it or has it / knows what it is?

Had this for years. Anything like Duac, Azelaic acid and even moisturisers or anti-redness creams make it worse. I haven't put anything on my skin since February 1st and it's still like this. My philtrum and the area just below my lip are normal, and the areas that are red are covered in these little red bumps. It also tingles and stings in the evenings and at night even though I'm not doing anything. I was seen by a doctor weeks ago and she said it looks "very sore" but has no idea what's going on.

It's annoying because before this my skin was perfect. I'm wondering if anyone here has this or has had it?

I used Duac for years, so my skin was blemish-free, but then I began to get episodes of this rash which came in varying degrees of severity and since 2024 it just blew up.

I have very pale skin and before this, the skin on my face was the exact same colour as my neck and my philtrum/area immediately under my lip. In some lighting I look severely sunburned even though I'm not.

@AdmiralPrune 👀 do you even know what thrush is and where the infection is. It wouldn't affect her cheeks

@Gibbon Yes and yes it can affect a person’s face.

It can be caused by a number of things from poor immune system to drooling in your sleep.

idk just looks like zits to me.. could be shingles or hives but idk that they last that long are you under a lot of stress? .. do you drink lots of water and keep your hands face and linens clean and stay away from greasy foods?
Try kefir. Use it like a poultice.
Plain kefir, found at any grocery store, pour a little on a folded paper towel and press it against your skin, leave it on an hour, and just rinse with cool water. Dab dry, don't rub!
It may help with the irritated skin and those little blisters. It won't take much to tell if it helps, an hour or two at most and the swelling should be diminished.

Now, if this works, you should be checked for Candida overgrowth.
Can usually be fixed with diet. One of the worst culprits is modern bread products, too many trash sugars.
could be your makeup, acid in tomatoes. or whisker burns.
