No, I don't need others' opinion. Opinions just make you blind.

But I listen to opinions. They work two ways for me.
1. It tells me about others what see/think about me. That doesn't set any importance for that. Others' opinions can be right, wrong, biased, irrelevant, lacking the complete context, etc. But sometimes it can give something to improve yourself, that is for yourself, not for them to approve.
2. It tells me about others, what is their approach towards things, their knowledge, their intentions, etc.

When I was a young man out of high school and college, I looked for my family’s approval with everything. Until I started a relationship - and they didn’t seem to approve.

Though all things considered, There are instances Where I'd rather seek forgiveness than approval or permission.

To be honest yes, I do really need people’s approval on many aspects of my life, especially fashion/style.

If I'm doing something for them I like to be directed. Also I like it when girls get tough with me there was this one time when I hadn't had sex with my other half for about 3 days and we had it every day back then. Nowadays hell no. Especially since I walked 500 miles in my own boots and when I needed people's help or one of their friendship all they do is turn their back. I figured like this if you do not care for me when I'm at my lowest then you don't deserve s*** when I'm at my best.
