Is there something you use to do before Covid that you don't do anymore?

I use to go to the local tiki bars and listen to the classic rock bands. I haven't done that since before Covid. ☹️
AbbeyRhode · F
The plandemic cost me my peace of mind. I live in constant fear now for my family members who were fear-mongered into having the death shots.
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
I used to have better health. Each time I caught Covid my health declined a little bit. Now I catch the cold or flu so easily now. And I can't shake it off as quickly as I used to.
4meAndyou · F
@Thevy29 Can you get Amazon.com? That's where I found mine.
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
@4meAndyou I found this one on amazon.com.au for $16 says it would be delivered by the 24th

@Thevy29 Psychosomatic. The power of suggestion by your gub'ment.
No. I stopped going to certain places for a bit because I didn’t feel like wearing a mask (so I stayed outdoors more). But that’s not a requirement anymore anywhere I go.

I hope you’re able to enjoy the bands again.

@Colonelmustardseed Thank you very much 😊
I use to pay $700 for rent lol
4meAndyou · F
I used to be able to go over to my friend, Tom's house to visit, but since Covid he has stopped even wanting to visit, or barbecue...or live.
Musicman · 61-69, M
@4meAndyou I am so sorry to hear that ☹️
MarineBob · 56-60, M
Social distancing, I stopped doing it when others decided to just be like me
AlchemyFox · 36-40, F
A lot actually. I find that very sad. But things changed so much.
Cinderella1day · 26-30, F
I use to go to the movies almost every Thursday and see movies with my friend. It was $5 Thursdays. Yes the movie theaters are open but it was never the same. Some good movies don’t even show in theaters. Many people stay home. People don’t go to the movies like they use to. Sad it was a perfect thing to do before dinner.
Musicman · 61-69, M
@Cinderella1day I believe it. That will be a truly sad day. ☹️
katydidnt · 61-69, F
@Cinderella1day Quality of life took a dive in that respect. Before Covid, it was so great being in a packed theater, cackling and crying together. Now our hope is for a scantly-attended house with adequate separation for all. And masks--who else thinks they're too much like laughter condoms?
Cinderella1day · 26-30, F
@katydidnt I also think people are more lazy than before the pandemic too.
Starcrossed · 41-45, F
I used to meet abig group of friends for weekend brunch every other month or so. We've only done it a few times in the last two years.
hunkalove · 61-69, M
I haven’t eaten in a restaurant in over 5 years. Now I can't afford it anyway.
Musicman · 61-69, M
@hunkalove Some days life just sucks! ☹️
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
Just seems like a lot of the fun has been lost eh?
Musicman · 61-69, M
@JimboSaturn Yes it has. 😢
trollslayer · 46-50, M
Well, I no long talk with friends and family that died of Covid…
Jenny1234 · 51-55, F
I used to go out more and my kids were all into sports and music lessons so we were always busy. Covid shut all of that down. And now that things have been open for the past couple of years they don’t want to play sports or music lessons anymore
JustNik · 51-55, F
I feel less comfortable around people in general because of all the anger and outright madness, which may have been exacerbated by Covid, but certainly weren’t caused by it.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
Some things but it doesn't have anything to do with pandemic, it's just that life changes.
Trust anything the government and media tells me…
Torsten · 36-40, M
trust Vaccines
Not that I can think of.
katydidnt · 61-69, F
Travel. Neighborhood bars. Being my huggy-kissy self.
Musicman · 61-69, M
@katydidnt So where did you enjoy traveling to?
katydidnt · 61-69, F
@Musicman We have enjoyed all 50 states and all provinces save Nunavut. All by car, save Hawaii. Some international as well. Faves: CO, UT, VT, BC.
Musicman · 61-69, M
@katydidnt That is so awesome! My wife are retired now and have a motorhome. We haven't visited all the states yet, but we are working on it. 🙂
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
15 hours commuting per week that turned out to be unnecessary 🤔
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@SunshineGirl It is nice not to burn that much gas.
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
@JimboSaturn The country could have fulfilled its carbon reduction targets for the rest of the decade by building upon such unexpected consequences. Unfortunately everyone was so eager to return to their old, unhealthy habits.
HumanEarth · 56-60, F
I stop doing that before covid. Temptation had to stay away from alcohol temptation
I recall how people were staying out of work over a year or more because they were scared of catching COVID. some of us were essential and never had that option. as a result, i contracted COVID and felt like shit for a few days and then right back to work. i have a feeling the next batch of virus they are cooking up is gonna be way more lethal. unfortunately.
HumanEarth · 56-60, F
More freedoms just like they did to the world after 911.
Nope. The government has not held me hostage.
JoyfulSilence · 46-50, M
Work in the office along with all my coworkers.
Sevendays · M
Nope. I do anything I want, well, anything legal.
Have friends to go out and do stuff with

Ummm... trust the science? :)
Breathe properly
@V00doo I have post covid nasal drip from hell, I'll start leaking out of nowhere and take a lot of paper towls before it stops, then BAM few hours later it's back.
@Musicman Long covid. Asthma.
Musicman · 61-69, M
@V00doo I am so sorry ☹️☹️☹️
