And what about women hitting in younger guys….my wife is 17 years older than me and we have been happily married for 24 years. It’s more to do with attitude to each other than numbers.

@Iwantyourhotwife I consider it gross past 10 years up until 40. Then I can see maybe 10-15 years. I’m basing this in maturity, life experiences, and brain development. I have seen the worst in men my whole life, so this is based on my own life experiences. Example: my grandma was 21 years younger than my grandpa. She was mentally delayed and he was very abusive and controlling. I have also had older men attempt to take advantage of my innocence. I have seen the worst case scenarios with my friends (one of them got pregnant at 16 by a 24 year old man).
And you know, I find it lively that you have this drive to protect innocent girls from abuse and mistreatment. That's lovely 😄
Now, looking back at it, if your grandma had a wonderful man instead of a controlling one, would that help this aversion to the idea? ^ And this is imaginatively speaking btw Just tryna see how you'd share a picture from uour mind about another way or other things :o
And man, the more I see it, it's not even about the beauties of a relationship between loving partners, it's the life experiences of evil men where you've been and seen them having worked to destroy innocent women

@Iwantyourhotwife a woman of her mental capacity I feel would not be able to give consent, at least that’s how people would see it these days. Why would any normal man would want a mentally delayed woman? I love my grandma but even in her 60’s, she had the mind of a young teen at most.
I think overall I don’t trust men. So it makes me question the intentions of men who are my fathers age or older that want me. To my father, I’m a little girl. I’m an immature child with little experience in life compared to him. I feel that’s how all men in their 40’s should see me.
@Teslin most older men that prefer younger women that met all have very shallow reasons for their preferences. That is me sarcastically making fun of them.
@NotSureAboutMyUserName I think maybe it levels off in your 40’s but I just think 20’s are such an important developmental stage, it’s a bit weird. The first 5 years your brain is not even fully formed.
Statistics from 3rd world countries aren’t going to show age PREFERENCE. Marriage statistics mean nothing. Marriage in those countries aren’t for love.
@MorbidCynic That’s a grooming technique. Telling someone they are mature for their age, they have an old soul, you are special, etc. is a way for a man to make you feel special, seen and heard.
What they are really doing is predatory because the power dynamic between a 30+ year old man and a younger women 18-23 is not the same. They are just looking to use and abuse until they are finished.

@fortycreek refer to what I said to JimboSaturn. I’m talking about someone like me who is 26 dealing with men in their 40’s (my dad is 45). It’s uncomfortable.
@JimboSaturn no offense but I feel after a certain age, it’s not that bad. But the teens and twenties are very “fragile times”. I feel like we put an arbitrary age on adulthood. Our brains aren’t even finished development until 25. That means someone under 25 can’t fully process the consequences of their actions, so it makes it easier to take advantage. In the 30’s, brain development and physical development will start to balance out and it’s less shady.
I honestly feel weird hitting on anybody. I tend to be shy and end up waiting for signs that they may be interested first. Otherwise I feel like I am bothering them.
I'm not going to lie though, if a woman ten years younger than me showed interest then I would certainly be open to it. But I generally take the assumption that they won't be and leave that to them to correct it.
@ViciDraco you'll be shy and single forever or despair will kick in finally and you'll accept 3rd rate when you could Now have better soon by just honestly complimenting their eyes, or smile, a beautiful voice, a nice choice of clothing or nearly anything else that will start a conversation. Then after, "My name is Draco and yours is?" basic questions are traded. Confidence doesn't build itself and wishing doesn't help. Being turned away, shot down, ignored is good for you, because those aren't the people that you really need, just ones there for your practice, no big loss.
My BFF/former fwb is nine years younger than me, she's the one that seduced me at first, but then her and I grew into a deep friendship and live for each other. I say former because she moved back to her own homestate, but her and I still talk on the phone for hours on end every week.
@NativePortlander1970 it’s crazy how people have their own preferences and opinions. We don’t all have to agree with you 💀 it’s not like I’m bullying old men that leave me alone. Just don’t talk to me and we won’t have a problem.
@NativePortlander1970 I’m also bisexual and sexually prefer women, so it won’t really affect me if men avoided me. They don’t unfortunately and I’m not even that pretty.
