I've never thought of it like that, but now I can't ignore the comparison

Every now and then, yep

I think about every commercial that convinces us we need this, whether we do or not. We buy it and don't use it. It just collects dust.

Absolutely. You can remember the exact price of gas in 1974 and a cringeworthy thing you said in eighth grade, but the keys are a total mystery. It's like the soul's junk drawer, no index, no organization, and a filing system that's seen better days.

@HumanEarth Indeed...
I can recall the most mundane random events...that really have very little value.
Then...then my subconscious scrolls through and creates a dream scape out of the ruble just before I wake.
A colleague once suggested that you are everyone in your dream
....since your the mind that digs it up.
A scrap heap. Endless horizon of you.

Your right
You know, I remember this thing when I was so little, maybe three, maybe four. My dad was out there working on the car and I was just probley getting in his way, you know? And my mom, she showed me how to pick up stones with my toes. And I just thought that was the neatest thing. I've never forgot it to this day.
That's weird, but cool memory for me

It stores the junk.
And hides the valuable answers.
