Need advice and confused
Hello. I want to tell some story of mine and ask for advice.
I'm confused, there's this guy, let's call him Adam. We've known each other for almost 5 years. We met during the entrance exams for the same university, and our first meeting was at the testing center. The plot twist is that he actually went to the same high school as me, but we never met or knew each other at school.
Time passed, and we went to different universities. We remained casual friends, but even after 5 years now, from these 5 years of friendship, we haven't gotten close, we just keep in touch. And he a few times asked me out, and I always refused 😂
And lately, he asked me to hang out with him again, even though I rarely reply to his messages and doesn't he understand that from the first time he asked me out 4 years ago, I always refused him😭 and now I don't know what else to reply. I honestly don't want to or am not ready yet. What should I reply?
