Although I can't really relate, I can tell you ONE thing you can do that might help. It's called Positive Affirmation. Stand in front of the mirror in the bath and talk to your reflection.
Say things like..."I am BRAVE!" Here are some other things you can say:
I release fear and embrace courage.
I am stronger than my fears.
Fear does not define me.
I face challenges with confidence.
I trust myself to overcome any obstacle.
My courage grows stronger every day.
Fear is just a feeling; it does not control me.
I choose faith over fear.
I am calm and resilient in the face of fear.
My inner strength is greater than my worries.
Fear is a teacher, and I am willing to learn.
I replace fear with hope and determination.
I step forward with courage and conviction.
I release fear and welcome positivity.
I trust the process of life to guide me.
I let go of what I cannot control.
I am fearless in pursuing my dreams.
I choose to move forward despite fear.
My mind is clear, and my heart is strong.
Fear fades away as I take action.
I have the strength to rise above fear.
Fear is temporary, but my courage is lasting.
I am capable of handling anything that comes my way.
I am bigger than my fears.
I let go of fear and embrace life fully.

REPEAT one or two or more of these affirmations to yourself every single time you feel afraid.
If you really want to work on the fear, tape record yourself saying these things, and then play the tape back on very low volume at night when you go to sleep.
REMEMBER that God is by your side.
Isaiah 41:10 - Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
2 Timothy 1:7 - For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
1 John 4:18 - There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.
Psalm 34:4 - I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.
Proverbs 29:25 - The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe.
Don't forget to PRAY!!!
"Use this prayer to help you:
A Prayer Over My Fear - God, you know that we live in a crazy and chaotic world that makes fear soar. You also know my struggles in my daily life. When life gets to be too much, please help me come to you. Calm my thoughts and emotions and open my heart to your peace, comfort, and wisdom. Help me not to live in fear. Please reduce the feelings of fear and anxiety that plague me. Help me rest in You and trust You as I navigate through this broken world. In Your Name, I pray, Jesus. Amen."
