Does hot water bathing helps relax our muscles?

Does hot water really help in relaxation of our muscles because I am too protective of my skin and don't always prefer hot. I go medium warm during winter to cold on summers. Please share your experiences

we cannot stand really hot water. if it is warm and tolerable that is ok.
hot water bath improves blood circulation in the body, in addition to receiving muscle, joint pains to some extent. So hot water bath is good. also, improves milk flow in case of lactating mothers.

yes it does...to relax well go for aromatic water baths and beautification like addition of turmeric, rosepetals , Aloevera ,and wintergreen oils in your tub.

It does when i ever have back muscle stiffness i prefer a hot water bath. You can use moisturizer after the bath it helps the skin too

Be careful and use moisturizers as hot water drains the moisture from skin and dries it.

It does, as do hot showers!

@SW-User does it affect skin on long term

@Princesssharma Good for skin if you bathe and then immediately moisturize afterwards. Hot water has been shown to open up pores which makes cleaning them out easier, but also prone to dry out if you don’t moisturize and protect!
Too hot and I get a headache lol
