No. Commercial porn is generally fake and dull, as the title says. Genuine amateur porn — a couple people or so videoing themselves having sex — is probably closer, but even that is often people putting on a show. Real, satisfying sex, I imagine, for most people, happens in their heads as much as their genitals. The trick is to communicate with your partner(s) while it's happening in a way that makes it better for everyone involved, I think.

Its the act of "viewing ' that makes it voyeuristic.

If a play isnt sexual, then it isnt voyeurism - it has to have some sort of perceived sexual nature by the viewer.
Like, say you and i go to the beach. And my kink is feet, and yours isn't. We could both be looking at people and their naked feet, but i would be doing it voyeuristically, and you wouldn't - if that makes sense?🤷
Edit: I did end up looking it up, and came across both definitions.
So i digged a liitle deeper.
Then i came across a great article on it that described 'responsible voyeurism' : where parties are consenting: pornography and situations like the performance play you mentioned, only fans etc. Then there is' voyeristic disorder' where its a sneaky type of voyeurism, where one party doesn't know they are being watched - ie: peeping toms.
So there you go - it has more meaning to it than just one specific thing .
I have found a few scenes that were pretty compelling usually because they seemed like real people whose personalities came through and who were clearly having fun with each other. But that’s the exception rather than the rule, I think.

@thewindupbirdchronicles i think porn should be an industry like movies are, and that there should be different genres, as well as differnt styles . I feel that most of porn is very 'single faceted' l, and that there are heaps of areas that it just doesn't explore .
