why do religious people want to sit next to god?
i mean imagine oyu had to sit next to god allthe time for eternity, it would get boring surely, god would get anoyed by you always being there, what would p[eoplw do for eternity?

God is not a human being so projecting human traits onto Him is a waste of time..
Also nowhere does the Bible say we are going to be sitting next to Him..
Also when we are reasurected we shall be transformed into far greater beings then we are now.. So our future selves will not be human..

@Alyosha Imagine sitting next to the same person all day. Now imagine that day lasts two of our days. All you have to do for that entire day is sitting next to him. Now imagine that day lasts a week as we understand the concept. Nothing else to do, just sit next to him. Getting bored yet? You're not done. You've done 0% of your time there.
Now imagine that instead of a day, a week, or even a month, you're sitting next to him for a year. Non-stop. Nothing else to do but talk to him. Nothing else to do but worship him, kiss the ground he walks on, and tell him how amazing he is.
For. An. Entire. Year.
Now make that two years. Two years of nonstop praising him, with no breaks, no one else to talk to, just him.
Now imagine five years. Ten. A hundred. Literally nothing else to do for an entire century but sit there, talking to him, telling him how amazing he is.
And you've still done 0% of your time.
A thousand years. A million years. A billion years. By now, you've forgotten everything else. Your existence on Earth has been wiped from your memory by the relentless passing of time. It was only a tiny, brief moment, anyway, and now it's gone. You're just a mindless, automated praise machine. Your intelligence, your consciousness, they've withered away from the sheer monotony of it.
And. You've. Still. Done. 0%. Of. Your. Time.
Sound pleasant?
