why do religious people want to sit next to god?

i mean imagine oyu had to sit next to god allthe time for eternity, it would get boring surely, god would get anoyed by you always being there, what would p[eoplw do for eternity?

God is not a human being so projecting human traits onto Him is a waste of time..

Also nowhere does the Bible say we are going to be sitting next to Him..

Also when we are reasurected we shall be transformed into far greater beings then we are now.. So our future selves will not be human..

@Adstar But it does say that god made man in his own image. So there should be a family resemblance. Another small point. The Christian god is the same god of the Jews and the Muslims. And the Islamic god gives out virgins (rather pointless if you ask me) and has his favourites sitting all around him.😷
