Christian striving to be obedient to the faith and live by the teachings of Jesus. Saved by faith in Christ by the blood he shed.
Luke 13:24-30
King James Version
24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
John 14:15
15If ye love me, keep my commandments
Luke 6:46
“And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?”
Nope, it’s not in infant baptism or adult baptism. Being baptized is in obedience to Christ after salvation has been a inward work of the grace of God applied to the heart, and we become children of the most high God that loves us so very much , he wants us to spend eternity with him!
1 Peter 3:21
“The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:”
Jesus taught us to take communion and said, do this in remembrance of him. He did not specify how often and communion saves nobody!!
1 Corinthians 11:24-25
King James Version
24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: **this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.***

I have a personal relationship with God, very different from being religious
DrWatson · 70-79, M
I have discovered that online, people have a variety of understandings of the words "religious" and "spiritual."
So I will simply say that I am Christian, acknowledging that there is a lot of variety associated with that word too. But my faith is important to me.

Do you know what belief Christianity is based on?

I still pray. But I’m not into organize religion. I rather keep my relationship with God personal. I do my best to pray even when life is going well.

I am Christian, I have my deep seeded beliefs and convictions, but I am not a church goer or a dunk em and save em type. I will talk and discuss and share my beliefs, but when argued with I quit and walk away saying fine make your own bed and lay in it. I am good with that too.

I'm a Christian who doesn't believe that being outwardly religious matters much.
I do believe in morality and Christ's teachings.
I take communion, was baptized,I pray, go to church ,and read the Bible, these are the only religious rites I follow.
I do not believe baptism ,being in church,or communion is anything other than identification with the church and is an act of obedience.
For some this will be very religious.
To me it's a way of life.

My faith is important to me, and I am very active in my church. I am a bit of a heretic, but I do my best to follow the teachings of Jesus.

How many of your body parts have you cut off to keep from sinning?

Jesus said that you must chop off your body parts to keep from sinning or else you will end up in hell. The only thing my neighbor has left is his brain. It really looks weird.
