Christian striving to be obedient to the faith and live by the teachings of Jesus. Saved by faith in Christ by the blood he shed.
Luke 13:24-30
King James Version
24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
John 14:15
15If ye love me, keep my commandments
Luke 6:46
“And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?”
Nope, it’s not in infant baptism or adult baptism. Being baptized is in obedience to Christ after salvation has been a inward work of the grace of God applied to the heart, and we become children of the most high God that loves us so very much , he wants us to spend eternity with him!
1 Peter 3:21
“The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:”
Jesus taught us to take communion and said, do this in remembrance of him. He did not specify how often and communion saves nobody!!
1 Corinthians 11:24-25
King James Version
24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: **this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.***
