I'm starting to see why Christians are so against Satanism. I mean, just look at this horrifying blood ritual from Anton LaVey's Satanic Bible:

He is to offer a turtledove or a young pigeon. Then the priest shall bring it to the altar, twist off its head, and burn it on the altar; its blood should be drained out on the side of the altar. And he is to remove the crop with its contents and throw it to the east side of the altar, in the place for ashes. He shall tear it open by its wings, without dividing the bird completely. And the priest is to burn it on the altar atop the burning wood.

LaVey's version of Satanism is largely a satire of Catholicism. Catholicism is based in no small part on the Bible, including Leviticus. LaVey just might have written about this barbaric ritual. If so he might have changed the pigeon to a bat or something. He also would have killed the animal in a more humane way first and then simply mutilated the corpse. The Israelites on the other hand were expected to carry out the ritual just as described. They also adopted the Hammurabi practice of "an eye for an eye," deliberately disfiguring people for committing any of a number of crimes. Also stoning, forcing women to marry their rapists, and enslaving people from the states around them. And so much more. Gotta love Biblical morality.

And yet the church of satanism is a recognized religion in the US. So now that the SCOTUS is allowing prayer in schools, get ready 😂
Fukfacewillie · 56-60, M
@Zaphod42 Now we can have prayer sessions in public school and use tax money to send our little Satanic children to Satanic schools!
@Zaphod42

Gonna be a messy one lol

Leviticus 1:14–17 (ESV): 14“If his offering to the LORD is a burnt offering of birds, then he shall bring his offering of turtledoves or pigeons. 15And the priest shall bring it to the altar and wring off its head and burn it on the altar. Its blood shall be drained out on the side of the altar. 16He shall remove its crop with its contents and cast it beside the altar on the east side, in the place for ashes. 17He shall tear it open by its wings, but shall not sever it completely. And the priest shall burn it on the altar, on the wood that is on the fire. It is a burnt offering, a food offering with a pleasing aroma to the LORD.

@Pikachu They would have had to read their own Bible to realise it wasn't from the Satanic Bible.
@Bushranger

lol yeah. Even among the most evangelical Christians on here, they have not necessarily done that.
I speak from experience.
@Pikachu In their defense the sacrifices in the mishkan or the Tabernacle of Moses are irrelevant to the ministry of Christ. No Christian ripped apart a turtle dove in the mishkan.

I don't remember seeing that in the The Satanic Bible. It sounds more like something from the christian bible.

Ya im totally fine with it.. after all the Christians seem to teach about hating everyone but then Satanism teaches tolerance and equality. to me the Christians are the evil hateful mother fuckers (KKK)

just do what i do be agnostic and just treat everyone with respect and love and accept others peoples choices.

Fukfacewillie · 56-60, M
I hail Satan. It’s my protected religion.

@Fukfacewillie

Fair enough. If religion is protected then religion is protected
Fukfacewillie · 56-60, M
@Pikachu And atheists can suck it! Hail Satan!
@Fukfacewillie
Stupid atheists!
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
That was pretty good. You'd have fooled me if I hadn't read both the Satanic Bible and the regular Bible cover to cover.
@LordShadowfire

I think many Christians would be surprised lol
