There's an Aussie story called the Magic Pudding... You can eat as much as you want and it never gets depleted... It can be a savoury pudding or a dessert pudding... And has it got a saucy mouth lol
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
@Convivial That is terrific! Is there an unexpected twist in the tale?

In the Magic Porridge Pot (see below) the little girl entrusted with the spell that produces infinite porridge forgets how to stop it and her town soon becomes a highly nutritious Pompei.

@SunshineGirl lol...a gluggy end.... The sorcerer's apprentice with porridge... The magic pudding was written by a well know Aussie artist, Norman Lindsay, it's also a bit of a political treaties
@Convivial I am going to search for it online

When I was little my favourite story to be read to was The Magic Porridge Pot.

For reading to my nieces and nephews, anything by Julia Donaldson is good for both reader and listener.
@SunshineGirl thank you for sharing :)
