How they handle the storm of life
Ferric67 · M

CloudAngel80 · 41-45, F
Id say its on how they react.
Everybody has different opinions, and in a relationship, theres gotta be chemistry, connection and communications. How they handle it is DEFINITELY a sticky slipper slope. For example, if tge woman likes tacos and tge man likes burritos, they comprimise to each getting their own choice..but if the woman cant have spices, maybe the man can suggest a place that has it all like a buffet?
Something in a relationship has to be real, heart felt and meaningful..without that communications, the connections get severed. You can build on shared interests, but make sure that you stay by your own choices. Comprimise means nobodys happy, but everyday they are satisfied..

@CloudAngel80 well said, how people react to difficult situations and times and manage is a huge red flag for me.

How they handle the differences. Just my opinion.
Common ground and Shared Interests give you the start. However, to reach the finish you have to inevitably learn how to handle the differences. There is great turbulence there.

I think a delightful combo of both. Too many similarities might be exciting to start with but end up quite boring.

They - whoever 'they' are - say that the spaces between us help to grow together.

🤔

Good morning,

I think on shared interests and values combined.

Approch to handle our differences evolves as we mature with time (hopefully). If that makes sense!

Both matter. It would be hard to have a relationship with someone you have nothing in common with, but you also have to be able to work through differences and disagreements in a way that doesn’t undermine your trust in each other.
Achelois · F
Handle their differences, accepting them for who they are and not wanting to change them.

Both because you learn from each other either way.
Built on shared interests, continued on handling differences.
Ananke · 26-30, F
Both play an important part in any relationship really
ElRengo · 70-79, M
Both aspects are strongly needed, both have constraints.
And even with both being handled, it may fail.
MaryJo1996 · 26-30, F
It's deciding you can tolerate one person more than any other.
RedBaron · M
Why not both? They’re not mutually exclusive.
