When I married my ex husband, as soon as I saw him at the alter white as a ghost I knew we'd get divorced one day.

Yeah, marriage is meh.

Two weeks after we met he asked me to marry him. He was in the process of a divorce so we got hitched 2 years later. Been together since. Marriage works if you're compatible and tolerate each others flaws, quirks and annoying habits.

When I got married, I had lost my mind to Schizophrenia! My dentist was hitting on me and my fiance was cheating on me! So I still got married but I turned to my dentist who then rejected me because he didn't want to be a homewrecker, I pleaded with him to reconsider even to just be a friend whom I truly loved in the end I had sold my soul to the devil. And my newlywed husband would allow me to lay my head on his lap as he would stroke my hair, he hired nannys to take care of our 1 year old twins and every Sunday morning for years and years he would make me breakfast in bed....I learned to love my husband again, but then he himself gave up and turned to drugs and We struggled for 2 years until God gave us a miracle and saved our marriage, since then God told me to enjoy my husband and I've grown to love him more than ever....Yes our marriage has been through hell and back but we have 4 beautiful kids who are almost all grown up and we do still love each other.

My first marriage I thought that at the reception.

I was doubting before the ceremony... there were just too many things lined up that didn't feel right to me. They kept saying that it was "cold feet", though.

If you did , you still have time for an annulment, and then go your separate ways . But seriously , put your big boy pants on and figure that shit out! Marriage is when the work starts … for both of you ! It just doesn’t work without effort on both fronts . Get busy!

My best friends inlaws met and were married in 9 days. They raised two daughters and lived happily ever after.

Yup! And that’s why two years later when she suddenly broke the silence in the car on the way home from grocery shopping with “I want a divorce”, I replied without even looking over “Ok”

It could happen, that’s why you need to get to know someone well before taking that step. I suggest living a couple months together to see how they behave with you under the same roof.

Marriage is all most a scam these day's. There really should be a age limit how young u can get married. These younger adults don't know what the real world is like. U really think they are ready for a life long marriage

You're still adjusting! Ask yourself why you wanted to marry him in the first place and are those reasons still valid? If you really love him, it will work!
