Why can't I call myself an idiot when I do something dumb?

I don't know. I call [i]myself[/i] an idiot or an imbecile quite often, but I'm sure I wouldn't take kindly to a "friend" doing it...unless we were laughing together about something goofy I'd done.

If she is an actual friend, she probably doesn't want you thinking you really [i]are[/i] an actual "idiot".

Because she's sick and tired of you fishing for a compliment.
