I like British accents . I don't like Russian accents. Nor German. They make you think you're being interrogated by the KGB or the Gestapo.
Fukfacewillie · 56-60, M
Russian is disgusting.@BridgeOvertroubledWaters
Love some of the British and American Southern. But I lIke most accents when accompanied by an attractive voice😊
Jeremazing13 · 26-30, M
My favorite is Irish not the stereotypical leprechaun accent but just a general Irish accent.

I wish I knew how @Soossie sounded. To me, I think she would have an interesting accent.
Now in contrast, I would never want her to hear my Philly accent!!! 😂😂

A guy I once worked with was a very dark man from the French speaking country Congo who learned English from a Zimbabwean.
He was very polite and proper in his speech. He had a very rich mellow voice with a delightful undeterminable accent.

Loads of accents here in the U.K. - you’ve only got to go a short distance and the local accent will be slightly different. 35 miles I reckon. @Lisette

Irish, Scots and Caribbean/African are my favorites.

Midwest and Boston are horrible. And Southern reminds me of uneducated Trumpests.

I love some British accents and some Spanish accents. Most southern (U.S.) accents make me very uncomfortable. 🙁
Harmonium1923 · 51-55, M
@bijouxbroussard I have a similar reaction to German accents. As David Sedaris said, it always sounds scary, even from a waiter. As if they’re saying “Here is your dessert, now go lie down in the ditch next to the little girl”.
bijouxbroussard · F
@Harmonium1923 😱
Yes. And I remember as a child being told, “Nigras aren’t allowed here.”
That was their “polite” form of the “n” word. Whenever I hear Alabama and Mississippi accents in particular, I flashback.

@bijouxbroussard I read an interview recently with Samuel L. Jackson who said something very similar, referring to listening to Jeff Sessions and Mitch McConnell.

I love some of the US accents alot, least is German 😊

I’ve always been soft for an Irish accent. Thick southern accents tend to have my patience wear thin.
