Never been married. Had two relationships. Have four kids (three adult from R1, one 8 y/o daughter from R2). No interest in marriage, Single since 2016. Not really interested in relationships as its far too risky for men in the post-Covid weaponised toxic feminism space.
To my mind the concepts of pregnancy/family/relationships/sex and the concept of marriage do not compute. I'm neuro-divergent though, so I can't see adult sex/dating/relationships like 'normal' people do.

I think it is way more accepted.
And should be.
You don't get a say in the marital status of your parents. You shouldn't beat any responsibility for it.

Because societies evolve and change. The concept of "illegitimate" child birth and the social stigma attachex to it is almost entirely attributable to the historical authority of the religious establishment. An authority which in most western countries has been waning for decades owing corruption and abuses within the Churches.

Somehow, “baby mama” became culturally acceptable for some. I can’t stand the term.

Common sense?

Commitment is a four letter word these days. What me be responsible? Are you kidding.

Marriage is seen as either too much work today, or too constraining.

@AwesomusPrime Marriage is of no value to men now. Women still cheat (or want to cheat) due to hypergamy. A husband is only a placeholder for a woman whether married or not until the 'next best thing' comes along. Basically, when a man gets married he becomes the woman's 'handbag' to 'accessorise' her life and this starts from the day of the wedding when the event is all about the woman exclusively.
