Why are children born out of wedlock more excepted to have today compared to years ago?

In the past if you got a female pregnant you got married. I don't see that with young couples now ever it seems.

Because societies evolve and change. The concept of "illegitimate" child birth and the social stigma attachex to it is almost entirely attributable to the historical authority of the religious establishment. An authority which in most western countries has been waning for decades owing corruption and abuses within the Churches.
