I have allowed it before, I don’t mind her getting attention, it can make her feel good.

It was a common practice at the country/western place we used to frequent. My wife often danced with strangers and friends, and I danced with other wives/girlfriends. In fact, it was considered mandatory for each man to dance with each other man's date.

I don't see a problem dancing with others, but you better believe I know who I am ending up with every time. He would probably say similar. You cannot hold someone captive because you will smother them. It has always been that way with us.

That all depends upon the setting. At a bar or lounge setting, no way it would happen or be allowed. At a family function like a wedding then that is an acceptable allowance.

In a nightclub? No! I’ve seen how far those hands can go.
But in a well lit dance room, no problem. It’s actually a good way to test how loyal is your partner.
Some guy will definitely make a move on her. I don’t ask about it. I just pay attention to what she does in the next few hours/days.

My wife is three times the dancer as I. She's danced from Jr. High, high school, and college. It's a shame she has me for a partner. So whenever she wants, she has my blessings on hitting the dance floor!
Which she has numerous of times.

If I had one I think I wouldn’t mind, at least as long as I know the guy. The best man’s girlfriend danced with me at my brother’s wedding reception. She initiated it and he didn’t seem to mind.

I would be somewhat surprised, as that would mean I had a girlfriend or wife that I, until that point, was completely unaware of.
