I don't really think marriage is an option at this point, but I'd really like to at least know what it's like to be in a committed relationship where the feelings are mutual.

While i do like being single i wish i could find a nice girl friend who i can fall in love with and be close.. i have never had that kind of relationship before.

Single’s the only one I’ve ever tried. I do recognize some perks of being single, like I can feel free to look at, smile at, even attempt to flirt with any women I want without repercussions; however, I do think I would really really really like to at least give dating a try, and I’m afraid I’ve gotten so used to being single (35+ years) that I’m just never going to be able to find a romantic partner. I have too many single guy habits that have solidified over time, I’m afraid.

Marriage is good but make sure you marry correctly.
The person that I am would never be comfortable in an open relationship. I want a man all to myself and not worry about all of that. I never voluntarily was in an open relationship but I was with a guy off and on that wouldn't commit to me because he was secretly and not secretly seeing other women and that was horrible for me.

Relationships don't have as much commitment as a marriage ( in theory) so I prefer strong commitment.
