Does anyone have a good book recommendation for me to read?

What kind of books do you like? The best book I've read lately was "Theo of Golden" by Allen Levi

Go to an antique book store and find a 1920s text book. I have a text book called hoisting hauling and mine drainage from the turn of the 20th century. It's got beautiful illustrations there are even math problems in the back of it. I tried some of them but they're a little over my head. Sometimes you can find old notes written in books like that a hundred years ago. Ive read in books used in hotels as decorations but they're real books from long ago. You can see how people thought and how they lived.

It's my go to whenever this question comes up. Fascinating story and very well written.

If you like literature, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen or Great Expectations by Charles Dickens

Try something different with Laurence Sterne's Tristram Shandy, it's an 18th century novel with modernist qualities, it's very funny when you get on it's wavelength.

Anything by Terry Pratchett if you like humour and fantasy.
