@robingoodfellow im in the minority but personally prefer the alec guiness version to the oliver reed film. I get the love for the musical amd reed is fantastic in the role. I just feel the songs kinda take away from the serious parts of the story

@Guitarman123 I like them both as films, but yes the musical is not really Dickens' book. Specifically Fagin being a charming likable rogue in the musical.

@FreddieUK I was taught shakespeare at school during my English classes of course. I really enjoyed it. Probably the only one who did lol

@ArtieKat I love that one. I’ve forgotten many of the details but I remember there’s a miser who stays up late at night reading books about other famous misers. 😆
