Love how he could add social criticisms with a sense of humour and very digestible writing style

I read Great Expectations in 7th grade and loved it. I've tried to read other novels of his since and didn't get very far with them. I'm currently poking my way through Jim Thompson's novels so that shows where my brain is.

@hunkalove I really love Jim Thompson novels American Noir of the 1950s he’s a good author
