I’m re-reading “A Walk Across America” by Peter Jenkins. It the story of a young man’s literal walk across America…a journey of self discovery and discovery of his country.

@DrWatson

Graham Greene is top shelf. Pity more people don't read him.
DrWatson · 70-79, M
@SmoothKnight I had heard about him for a long time before I decided to try him. Finally, just a few weeks ago, I got "Brighton Rock" from the library . It took a few chapters for me to warm up to it, but he soon he had me hooked. After I finished it, I went and got The Power and The Glory. I am a little less than halfway through, and I am enjoying it.

I've been meaning to... read the novel my name is from... but I lent it to a close friend who moved away years ago, and she latter passed so now if I read I would think of her?
