A Coincidental Life by Ron Kemper. His second book, and both admittedly fictionalized autobiographical to some degree. I find it eerie that we come from such different backgrounds -- him growing up in Brooklyn and me in rural California -- yet so many of our experiences in life are so similar. But then that is the theme of the second book, captured in the title. Told the author I can't wait for his third book when the two of us should begin working together and finding out how that went. 😳

The Disc World series. It's not terribly smutty, but it's funny.
I left off The Brothers Kazimarov in the middle - it's obvious we're never going to find out who that narrator is and none of those Kazimarov children is ever going to become a wizard.

These Burning Stars by Bethany Jacobs. Not (much) smut, although there's plenty of smoldering passion.
