Vet knew I needed another dog, and the animal shelter had Splenda, Who was anxious to get a forever home and meet people, Splenda met people in nursing homes and hospitals until the Covid 19 pandemic in 2020. Splenda is still with me today, eager to meet new people. Triumph was Cremated. and his ashes are on the bookshelf with his last collar and dog tags. Spend as much time together as possible, When Ready, Adopt another dog. .
@IPmyPants I've told myself I'm not going to get another dog. I've had the same internal conversation before and talked myself into it twice now. It'll take some time, but I'm sure I'll end up with another furry friend.
We lost the bigger girl this spring she was 13 and her body just gave out . I was nervous when i got the little guy not knowing if she would accept him ,obviously that wasn't a problem. Not only was it hard for me losing her the little guy still searches the house looking for her . So sorry for you and your pup.
@SooperSarah 🤔this rather has sad irony as like your big hole in our world came the same year 2014 with the sudden loss for mam of our father .it hit us hard really and one of my sisters suggested we get a pet never an substitute as such . we got a kitten in 2014 a female tuxedo cat called jess and when i saw her it melted by heart . now in twenty twenty five we still have jess lol she is the boss in our house without a shadow of a doubt lol 😆
