My little town has been completely taken over by a bunch of boys with their big toys.

I'm talking giant trucks with even bigger tires that just look ridiculous at this point. I mean, there's big... and then there's whatever this is.

Daughter wanted to go to the park and have ice cream. She changed her mind quickly when she saw all that.

This town don't even have a stoplight, but somehow it's packed full of trucks and flatbed trailers. They're lined up down every street, in every parking lot, at the park... everywhere. Half the time you can barely get down the road because nobody leaves any room. Even the ones backed in have their trailers sticking into road. We don't even have a police station, so I guess it's a free for all.

And these boys... if one more of 'em spits on the ground and then winks at me,..I'm gonna spit and give the finger.

Okay. I better take my meds. I realize I'm aggressively annoyef with something I probably shouldn't be. Probably just mad I had to get dressed.

Its a truck show of some kind this weekend. These trucks probably worth more than I make in a year lol

redneck-mobiles... plenty of them here too 🙄
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
nieces boyfriend baffles me. He buys a clean used truck, puts loud exhaust on it, 6-8" lift kit, big wheels, etc., drives it around for a year or so until it starts falling apart; sells it, then starts over with another truck...

He's went through 5-6 trucks already and he's only 24 years old...

Guys with small penises need transportation too.

@AthrillatheHunt
I have
Not for me. 😬
AthrillatheHunt · 56-60, M
@TheHammer I remember promising myself at age 9 I’d never kiss a girl .
Imagine trying to explain puberty to a 9 yo. They wouldn’t believe you . You think you will think the same at 55 as at 35? Think again. You have no clue what you will be jerking off to in 5 years. Believe me

I hate that shit. Welcome to the Midwest Bex.
AthrillatheHunt · 56-60, M
Sounds like you drive a 4 cylinder economy class car , yes ?
@GerOttman yes. My son gave me some lol
GerOttman · 70-79, M
@Bexsy All you need are some big a33 tires and a suspension lift kit. Go join em!
@GerOttman I'll race them lol

Yeah it's not nice. We have the same things in the outskirts of the city and it's aggravating tbh listening to that stupid motor noises.
@greensnacks i hope it's all cleared out tomorrow afternoon

Is there some kind of special event or something going on in town
@HumanEarth truck show I was just told
This is the exact time you need 200 "pencil dick on board" bumper stickers 😏

Meet me a midnight - dress in black ....its a mission 💪

We had a few of the “lift truck big tire” guys move into the area when fracking began. Karma when they ended up off the road because snow, ice and WV mountains don’t mix with big tires and lift kits.
Captainjackass · 31-35, M
Trashiest people you’ll ever meet.
AthrillatheHunt · 56-60, M
@Captainjackass ever been to Daytona during biker week ?
@Captainjackass very expensive toys.
Captainjackass · 31-35, M
@Bexsy I’ll never understand the desire to be such a douche.
GerOttman · 70-79, M
And they keep trying to tell us, the economy is falling apart... Somebody's still got some spare spending money!
GerOttman · 70-79, M
@AthrillatheHunt we did a festive thing a couple years ago. Expensive on the buy but 2 days of music for 11 hours. Good per hour rate.

Saw Bonamassa recently from the nosebleeds, not the same value at all. Decent show but I wasn't doing cartwheels in the aisle...

Lots of stuff has gotten more expensive but people keep buying it!
AthrillatheHunt · 56-60, M
@GerOttman people desperately are craving an escape from reality these days , if only for a few hours.
GerOttman · 70-79, M
@AthrillatheHunt I see reality every day. It's right there in front of my face. I've observed my perceived reality is often at odds with what the local/world news says I'm living in. This causes me to question with some skepticism much of what I see and hear from common media sources.

We're okay, we can be better. We should try, all of us!

And that's what happens when you live in "good ole boy" towns.
IM5688 · 70-79, M
Here on Long Island we have those big, hopped up trucks too, but I'm sure you have more of them there where you live.
We here on Long Island deal with a different type of vehicle menace. The motor cycles and street motor bikes that insist on doing wheelies down the road with regular traffic. Sometimes they're riding in groups so there are as many as 15 of them all riding the street doing wheelies and swerving on and out between us regular drivers in cars.
AthrillatheHunt · 56-60, M
@IM5688 I live like 2 miles from Nassau coliseum and they have those monster trucks shows yearly . Saw the last year Barnum and Bailey had elephants in the circus there in like 7/8 years ago .
IM5688 · 70-79, M
@AthrillatheHunt Seeing them in the coliseum is one thing, but out terrorizing the roads is another thing completely.
AthrillatheHunt · 56-60, M
@IM5688 I HATE the douche bags zooming through lanes during rush hr (which is every hr on the LIE) on pocket rockets too.
Sapio · 51-55, M
I never pictured you as the lifted truck type, so I'm not surprised by your dismay for them. Just remember it's only temporary.
justmeonline · 51-55, MNew
Disrespect for the local community, sounds like, in an extreme way. I hope they're gone soon. I've not visited the US much, so I'm not really sure how it is, in what sounds like quite a rural part, that you're writing from?
justmeonline · 51-55, MNew
@AthrillatheHunt I'm thinking on a very smaller scale, here in London, when a whole load of travellers parked-up in a local community area, and didn't move for weeks. I'm not sure in our case they were bringing any economic boosts, though.
AthrillatheHunt · 56-60, M
@justmeonline I’m not talking about pikers or Gypsies just hanging out for weeks I’m talking about traveling carnivals circuses concerts . Towns BEG those entities to perform in their town bc they know the economic boost. My area NYC just hosted FIFA 26. We complained while we profited too
i am all for economy boosts. We hold concerts, fairs. It's all in good fun. Thing is they show respect by not blocking roads just because they don't want to have to walk etc.

These ones today are just being rude and like they own the town

That's what's not liked. Not that they're here or spending money in our town. @AthrillatheHunt
Degbeme · 70-79, M
They`re all self-centered by the sounds of things. I also never understood the need to spit in public. It`s disgusting.
@Degbeme i hate it. Makes me cringe every time
