I've seen many people get clean over the years and the first step for all was to admit they needed to do it for themselves. Recognise that you are a person to be valued and then choose the way you want to be helped to get clean (12 Step, CBT, Person Centred etc.). You may need help to get that far, so reach out. In the UK there are (over stretched) services, but they do help.

You can do it my friend. It'll be hard but it's worth it. Believe me, I haven't had a drink in a little over twelve years. My son hasn't seen me drunk since he was five and my daughter has never seen me drunk. I wasn't order to by the court, but I put myself in rehab. Life hasn't been perfect by any means, but I feel better and have a great relationship with my family.

Do you ever wonder if dreams MIGHT be messages from God? Touching your subconscious mind to make you dream of things you NEED to understand, and DO? Why would He even bother with TRYING to help you to understand, if He didn't know, in advance, that you WILL do this?
Sometimes, there is a purpose to the very, very hard things we are called to do...and it's part of a greater plan. YOU might help others in the future...AFTER you get clean!

It's not only your dream telling you to do it, it's your common sense. How did you get into it?
