Graphic design question for you all

So, I'm looking at a logo for a local café called Peachtree. The logo is the wordmark on top of the cross section of a tree, showing the tree's rings — something you can only see if the tree is cut down.

Thoughts?

I like it, interesting. Perhaps a peach at the top, opened at the top , with a few of the cafes items peeking out. Cool logo with the tree rings 🙂
